true love

True love.... is when your husband gives you the white colored fruit snack out of his spider man fruit snacks (even when the white color are his favorite too)

* I got these for $.60/box couponing :) I would never pay the full $2.50 or whatever they normally are. But they are very yummy...I have to admit

glad it wasn't me

Have you ever had someone tell you a million times to do something?
And every time, you're thinking, "yes, i know. you have told me a million times!"
(as a child, it is something your mom tells you like...remember you hat and gloves, if you don't wear them you will get sick. okay maybe not the best example but you get the idea)

So Brian always tells me to keep the gas in my car above a half tank, so it doesn't freeze. Because when you live in the North Pole, this tends to happen on a fairly regular basis.

The other morning Brian left for work, and came back 45 minutes later. Apparently he let his tank get to low, it froze, and wouldn't start.

He had to drive my car (which was above a half tank) across town to buy a gas tank, fill it with gas, and come home to put it in his truck. And of course he spilled gasoline all over himself....just to make the situation even more fun.

All I can say is, "Glad it wasn't me!"

I love moments in life like this. They make me smile because it just goes to show I'm not the only one who screws up. It was unfortunate that Brian not only got caught doing the one thing he always warns me about, but he had to walk around the rest of the day smelling like gasoline. Bummer.

*** on a side note, I put Jason Mraz's song Lucky back on my blog (because Poppa Pope and Momma Robbert were so sad when I took it off). BUT....it is second behind Michael Buble's new song Haven't Met You Yet. I love Michael Buble. ***

Awkward Questions

My 4 year old nephew, Joe : "Mom, what is ...tile dysfunction?"
Jeana: "What?"
Joe: "What is ...tile dysfunction?"
Jeana: "Grant (who is 6), what is Joe saying?"
Grant: "He said, what is reptile dysfunction?"
Jeana: "Uhhhhh... You better ask your dad when he gets home."
Grant: "Well aren't reptile's like lizards and snakes?"
Jeana: "Yeah. That's it. It's when lizards and snakes are broken."
Grant & Joe: "oh. Okay."

Pheww...... hopefully they won't have any more of those questions for a few more years.... Gotta love that every channel on TV plays those awkward commercials. Hahaha

Have you ever?

Have you ever typed your name into Google?

Okay, you probably have. I'm most likely the only one who has waited until 2010 to try this.

Kinda crazy.

It pulled up all these links to the article I wrote about David Archuleta. (and the pictures I took too)

It also had my facebook profile picture, and links to people's blogs where they have my name in their posts.

WOAH!

You should try it.

I'm not too creeped out...you can't find any personal information.

It is just crazy to see that you are searchable on google.

oh yum!

Sitting here at work, day dreaming about the yummy dessert we had last night. Neither Brian or I are really dessert lovers. But this one is so good. It is Brian's favorite!!! His mom has made it since...well forever I guess. Anyway, here is the recipe. It is seriously so good!!!

Husbands Delight
1st Layer:
1 cube melted butter
1 cup crushed graham crackers
1 cup flour
mix all together and press into the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 10-15 minutes @ 350 (or just watch till it gets golden brown). Let crust cool.

2nd Layer:
beat together
1 pkg cream cheese
8 oz. cool whip
1 cup powdered sugar
spread over the graham cracker crust

3rd Layer
beat together
1 small box instant choc. pudding
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
3 cups milk
spread on top of cream cheese layer

4th Layer
spread 8 oz. cool whip on top

Let chill in the fridge.....then gobble it up! If you are having a bad day, this will make it all better :)

Our only pictures

this is me :) i look like a pro, right?

Our only pictures taken during Christmas break 2009 are of the day we went skiing. I wish we would have taken more pictures of all the fun things we did like...
  • Going to Chuck-E-Cheese for Joe's 4th birthday
  • We went to an indoor water park. So Fun!
  • We played lots of games
  • Played the Wii
  • Put together a 2000 piece puzzle. (Brian and Amanda did the majority)
  • Did some shopping
  • Played with libby, grant, joe, & asher
  • Watched a lot of football
  • Ate some amazing king crab legs
  • Did a session at the Billings temple with mom and dad
  • And went skiing with Mike and Amanda

This was at Red Lodge resort in Montana. My first time skiing. It was kinda scary, but fun. The best part was my second time trying to get off the ski lift and Brian was off, but somehow I was still on. I started getting nervous and I had to jump off the lift while it was still going. Haha, it was pretty funny. Luckily I jumped off just in time so I didn't have to ride back down the mountain in shame. It was so beautiful up on top of the mountain!

Sometimes illegal acts are much appreciated

5 months ago I tried to get a new social security card with my new last name on it.
Not that big of a deal, right?
I had to drive a half hour away and stand in line for a while to apply for a new card only to find out.....
My birthday has been wrong on my social security card my entire life.
Turns out I was born in 1986, instead of 1987. (at least according to the social security office)
So after 5 long months of waiting for Delaware to confirm that i was really born in 1987, not 1986, they issued me a new card.
Only problem was they sent it to my old address. It is illegal to forward it to the new address and so it is supposed to get sent back to Washington D.C. and shredded up.
This means I have to drive back down to Idaho Falls and apply again for a new card. Because they can't change my address over the phone...has to be in person
Are you kidding me???
But luckily, the mailman committed an illegal act and forwarded my social security card to me anyway.

Made my day!!
Thank you mailman or mail lady who forwarded it to me. Sometimes illegal acts are very much appreciated!
