Thanksgiving Week

We spent Brekan's first Thanksgiving with some of Brian's family in Kansas City. Brekan loved exploring a new house and playing with his Grandpa Robbert and aunt and uncle. 

We saw lots of Safari animals at Cabelas :)

 He also tried his first sweet pepper and we couldn't get it away from him. He loved it.

Brian, Gabe, and Grandpa went to a Basketball game.

 And we went to Adam-Ondi-Ahman as well as the Amish country.

Brekan partied so hard, he didn't have the energy to hold his bottle on the way home. Luckily Nemo assisted:)

Impossible to pick just one

I absolutely love that it's the middle of November and still warm enough to go outside everyday.  Brekan LOVES going to the playground these days. There are stairs to climb, slides to go down, and wood chips to eat. What could be better than eating wood chips?

More Firsts

Just some random pictures from last week.

No, that's not juice, it's blood. Poor boy bumped his mouth and since he has 7, yes 7 teeth, it started to bleed. He was sad for about 2 seconds until dad picked him up and he saw mom with the camera. Ha. We are such good parents. Can't clean up the blood until we get a picture first.

 Bentonville vs. Fayettville High School football game. High School football is a little different in the south. We loved it. Not only was it 70 degrees out at 8:30 pm, but the stands were so full, people had to stand everywhere. And there is a LOT of seating. There were a gazillion cheerleaders and like 500 band members. No exaggeration.  We look forward to many more games!

It finally happened. I went to the bathroom, and by the time I came out, Brekan was nowhere in sight. I finally found him in the other bathroom going to town on the toilet paper. At least he wasn't playing in the toilet. Not yet at least :)
