Pope Family Pictures 2013

Brekan still wasn't feeling great this day so we didn't get many smiles from him. But I have to say this is probably the best family photos the Popes have ever had. We all usually look pretty awkward. So this was definitely a success!

Can you believe that my husband is 29 years old and had never been to an amusement park until last week?!? What the? 

Well to say he had fun is an understatement. He wanted to ride all the biggest and scariest rides. Luckily my nephews and siblings joined him so I didn't have to. I like the mild rides. 

And I'm still not sure what Brekan thought. He was finally feeling so much better this day, but he was a little confused at all the rides. 

 So sad this picture turned out blurry :(

 And I randomly ran into Nicole Skinner! She was my most favorite young women's leader ever when I was in High School. She did my hair for prom, and I just have always loved her! So I was ecstatic to randomly bump into her.

 I got the lucky seat on "rattlesnake rapids" and walked away without a dry inch on my body.

 Amanda and Asher. Asher is the bravest 4 year old I've ever met. He would go on ANY ride!

 Then there are these 4 crazies. They all said this was the best ride of the day. I just can't even.....it made me sick watching them from the ground.

Friday we got all spiffed up for family pictures! These are just some candid shots I took, but I'll post the actual pictures soon.

 Cute parents! They leave for their mission to Chile next week!!!

 After our morning photo session, we all headed to a fun place called Jump On It. A big open area filled with trampolines and foam pits! Brekan's fever had finally broken and he had a rash all over his tummy. But since he was no longer contagious we risked it and took him with us. He loved all the trampolines!!!

 I apologize for the gazillion pictures, but I figure my family will want to see them.

 And after a long nap, we met up with our great friends the Southwicks for dinner. They drove all the way from Rexburg to see us!!

Thank you thank you for driving all that way just to see us for dinner! It was so good to catch up even if only for a couple hours!
