First Snow

This is definitely not Brekan's first time seeing snow, but it is the first time he's seen it and been aware of what it was. Too bad what you see is about the extent of it. He was so intrigued and excited! It's just too bad there wasn't really enough to play around in.

Christmas 2012

We spent Christmas in our apartment with just our little family of 3. It was a relaxing day spent lounging in our jammies and eating yummy food. We decided not to get a real tree because Brekan would just pull the ornaments and needles off of it, so our presents sat under our Poinsettia "tree":)

 Brekan was so overwhelmed. I thought he would love tearing the paper off of the presents, but he never really caught on to it.

 So he mostly just sat and stared at them all until we opened them for him:)

And of course he liked playing with the packaging and boxes almost more than the toys.

 Ha. Big boy toy! We ended up putting this toy away for a few weeks because he really didn't understand how to play with it yet. Mean parents? No, he forgot about it:) We'll get it out soon.

 

All in all it was a good Christmas. Just happy to spend it with my two cute boys. They are the best!

Early December

I've been a slacker at updating the blog. Here are a few cute pictures of our Brekan boy at about 11 months old. He just discovered that he LOVES strawberries, animal crackers, oranges, and grapefruit! 

His favorite thing to do is to climb up on the couch!

Loves to steal anything of mom and dad's. He loves dads shoes, and anything he can find in moms purse. 

And loves to walk as long as you're holding his hands. Here he is walking to the Christmas parade in downtown Bentonville.
