It's Becoming Tradition

This is our 3rd annual trip up to West Yellowstone with Nate and Kate to go to the Playmill. It's such a fun place to go for dinner and a show. This time we saw a play called "The Drowsy Chaperone". Very funny. I would recommend making the hour and a half drive up there. Fun times with some of our best friends.

Firsts

It seems like Brekan has been having a lot of "firsts" this summer. I love documenting all of them....mostly because it's just a good excuse to take some pictures of this cute face. 

The strawberries out of our garden have been so delicious this summer!

He likes to swim

We had most of Brian's family come visit us last week. We basically swam every day they were here. We swam at the hotel swimming pool, green canyon hot springs, and the water park. We had so much fun and discovered that Brekan LOVES being in the water. 

We also spent a day down in Idaho Falls.

 So tired, I think this was the day we went to the water park and then that night we went to the hotel pool. We wore him out.

We are so glad we got to play with family for a few days. Thanks for making the drive!!

Guess Who?

 Guess who is already 6 months old?!!

Brekan is just a big boy. Anyone shocked?

He weighs 18 lbs (well 17 lbs 15 oz) and is 28 3/4 inches long.

Yep. He's a big one:)

But they don't come any cuter.

 He is sitting up like a champ.

Still chooses not to roll over even though he knows how.

Loves eating rice cereal, peas, and carrots. 

He also just cut his first tooth on the bottom of his mouth two days before he turned 6 months old!

He is ALWAYS happy. 

Smiles all the time, especially if someone smiles at him first.

Has the cutest, most smoochable cheeks.

Loves to growl, blow bubbles, or make any other adorable noise.

 

He typically sleeps 13 hours a night, and takes 3 naps during the day.

Still loves to be swaddled up tight when he sleeps

Okay, you can stop growing up so fast Brekan.
