Brian went on a month long business trip for the entire month of September. It was kind of a last minute thing and we debated having the boys and I go with him up to Canada, but ultimately decided it would be a lot easier and cheaper for us to just stay home.
We were in survival mode for the month...hence Brekan eating whipped cream in his jammies:)
Brian was able to come home for a weekend in the middle. Him and Brekan had a blast catching frogs in our backyard.
We actually survived the month with smiles on our faces the majority of the time. We had our moments. And when we got desperate I strapped the kids in the car and went through the drive-thru for a milkshake.
The boys missed their daddy but thank goodness for Skype! We got to see him every day on the computer:) Hopefully he doesn't have another trip like that for a while.
